Wine matters very much in China. There are a lot of proverbs about Chinese food and wine, for example, "People are the most important to an emperor. Foods are the most important to the people. No Wine, No Feast."
Chinese spirits can be classified into the following types: Chinese Grape Wine, Chinese Rice Wine (Yellow Wine), Chinese Distilled Spirits (Baijiu), etc. The Chinese baijiu can be classified into five major types according to the primary aroma. Namely, Strong Aroma; Light Aroma, Sauce Aroma, Rice Aroma and some other aromas.
Participants of this event will have a general knowledge of Chinese Spirits and learn how to savor Baijiu.
