Listed as UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage, the 24 solar terms were created by farmers in ancient China to guide the agricultural affairs and farming activities. The 24 solar terms reflect the changes in climate, natural phenomena, agricultural production, and other aspects of human life. This lecture will talk about typical Chinese food and drinks related to the terms and how they help to cure diseases and maintain health.

The blend of five flavors, together with knife skills and optimal heating, is the top secret that makes Chinese food delicious. As for wine, Qu is the essence of the flavors of Chinese Wine. This presentation introduces the major seasonings of five flavors, the principles and methods of brewing Chinese Wine.
