Chinese Flavors: Food Garnishing Workshops

FALL 2017

About Food Garnishing Workshops:

In Chinese art the "Four Gentlemen" refer to the plum blossom, the orchid, the bamboo, and the chrysanthemum plant. Each "gentleman" represents a season, and this workshop gives an introduction to the fall's "gentleman": the chrysanthemum. The workshop consists of a mini-lecture and hands-on practice. You will practice easy-to-follow instructions on how to make beautiful chrysanthemums, using vegetables, so that you can recreate the magic in your own kitchen.
