Food Garnishing Workshop #1

The workshop consists of a mini-lecture and hands-on practice. The mini-lecture introduces the history, major styles, and common motifs in Chinese food garnishes. The hands-on practice will give you some easy-to-follow instructions to make a combination of tomato rose and zucchini leaves so that you can recreate the magic in your own kitchen.

Food Garnishing Workshop #2

In Chinese art the "Four Gentlemen" refer to the plum blossom, the orchid, the bamboo, and the chrysanthemum plant. Each "gentleman" represents a season, and this workshop gives an introduction to the fall's "gentleman": the chrysanthemum. The workshop consists of a mini-lecture and hands-on practice.You will practice easy-to-follow instructions on how to make beautiful chrysanthemums, using vegetables, so that you can recreate the magic in your own kitchen.
