Mid-Autumn Festival 2015

Chinese Moon Cake

The Confucius Institute at UC Davis is delighted to invite you to a special celebration of the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival.

Traditionally, a harvest celebration, the festival is observed at the time of year when the moon is at its roundest and brightest. We welcome you to join in the festivities! While our dance performers leave you enchanted, you can release your inner-creativity with some lantern-making and calligraphy instruction! Enjoy delicious Chinese refreshments and a customary moon cake! Make sure to drop by our photo booth with some friends, and, hopefully, get in some moon-gazing as well!

Where:  UC Davis Activities & Rec. Center (ARC) Ballroom, 230 La Rue Road, Davis

Time:  6:00-8:30 pm
